NOTIFICATION
The Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to declare that all Government Offices/ Government Undertakings, Boards and other Institutions under the control of the Government of Puducherry and all Banking Institutions including Co-operative Banks in the Union territory of Puducherry shall be closed on the days specified in the notification in Appendix-I and Appendix-II respectively during the Calendar Year 2019.
The following festivals, which fall on Sunday during the year 2019, have been excluded from the Holiday List:-
(i) Sunday, the 14th April 2019 . . Dr Ambedkar’s Birth Day/Tamil New Year/Vishu–1st Day
(ii) Sunday, the 27th October 2019 . . Diwali
